Sooo... new slip-on.. terrible mileage

    I'm sorry to hear about your bike. I was looking forward to the conclusion from the rest of you mechanically inclined people too. On occasion my 03kat600 afterfires. I gather that it means its running lean, but I'm not sure how to fix that.

      If you have a slip on and aftermarket muffler, you get a Factory Pro Stage 1 jet kit, clean your carbs, install the kit, sync your carbs, tune, and enjoy. If you have anything other than the stock airbox and filter, get rid of it, install stock airbox and filter, and profit from rideability.

        I have a Yoshi exhaust and I have the stage 1 kit. I'm not positive what I have for the airbox and filter, but I believe they are stock.
