just wondering what would make my tac jump around when im riding and just going around 4000 rpms. it only does it between 3500 and 4000 any help would be appreciated

My first guest would be a bad or poor connection. Possibly a wire that is loose and causing signal output interuption due to the vibrations. A connection that is vibrating can cause the wires to form a "barrier" between the connection that is almost unable to be detected by visual inspection.
