Carb Issue, Help!

I jetted my 00 Kat 600 5 wks ago and it ran fine, over the wkend it started running rough and sounds like crap, missing out and no power till 4,000 rpms and above. I pulled the plugs and #1 plug looked black and threads were wet. Is this happening because I didnt sync the carbs after jet kit? I put a new plug in #1 and its the same, please help! Thanks alot.

Well, not syncing is not a good thing. Under 4K you're deling with the pilot circuit. Your pilot jets probably aren't all that clear.

Some shop guys said sync them and some said dont unless there is an issue, go figure. Ur thinking that a pilot jet is clogged, I did a rebuild gasket kit and clean the hell out of them but all it takes is a little piece of something to mess them up. So I should remove the carbs and check the pilot jets, pull them and clean them? Thanks alot for the help.
