my head light blew both high beam and low beam. just wondering if i can get a bulb at an autoparts store or is it a specialty bulb.

most auto parts stores can order them. I went to advance and autozone and they said no but alot of smaller stores will do it if they dont have them in stock

OP, you should fill out your garage and stuff so people can help you. Do you have a pre, post, or another kind of bike. Most of us ride Kats, but not all.

Just trying to help you out man.

Seriously? Isn't it just an h4 bulb?

I got a replacement from autozone for my 93...

If you popped both the high and low beam in a short time, check your running voltage before replacing the bulb.

Yeah, it's not a special bulb, it's just a H4 bulb. Available at any place that carries car headlight bulbs, and unless they are sold out for some odd reason, in stock.

I picked up an H4 Sylvania Silverstar bulb (9003 / HB2 / H4 rated), but It's listed as '60/55' on the ring, as opposed to the mentioned '55/60' here on the site.

Is this bulb okay with my existing wiring ?
