  • You could guess it... Carb Synching...

So i've been searching all over KR for a post i saw a week or two ago that actually explains how to make the simple tube synch tool. I've searched KR for Synch gauge, carb synch, etc, but am coming up empty. Could someone point me in the right direction on materials and how-to for making one of these, and the hookup and synching process as well? I think a sticky on this would save the experts on here a lot of time answering the same questions....

For all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than to Google it for themselves.

HAHAA, wow. I guess i was missing the word "cheap." That was only slightly humiliating after searching for an hour or so. Not the post i was thinking of, but good enough for now! As usual, I am eternally grateful to Krey...

No, you find the same thing if you just type in "sync tool". I just tried. It took me approximately 2.66666 seconds.

Thanks for the help... it turns out i already have stoppers with glass tubes through them for a drink machine i was inventing a few months ago... The point remains, however, that they should probably be a sticky on this to prevent future posts..

Even if it were a sticky, do you honestly think that would prevent future post? Welcome to KatRiders.com.

I've been here 6 years longer than you. I'm telling you, don't hope. It'll just turn into a letdown.

Well thanks to all, i did get a nice set made, but can't get those damned little rubber boots off! The bike sputtered and popped a bit when i first put the carbs on, but after warming it up, without doing the vacuum synch, it is running really nice, with no popping or anything even with revving and dropping the throttle. Is there some trick to getting those stupid things off, do i just say F-it and pay the $60 my shop wants for it, or count it good enough?

You get those rubber boots off with a thing called a hemostat. Needle nose pliers work, but a hemostat is easier.
