    Transmissions a FAR easier than carbs. I've rebuilt both. Now getting to the transmission, it's a lot easier to take the carbs off. But once you have the trans out, it's by no means hard. Still wouldn't try it without a manual though. Since when is a 90 degree angled snap ring pliers a "whole bunch" of special tools?

      I had never even touched a carb before until this past winter. I read Carbs 101 about 5 times. Decided I would try and do it myself on a 92 Kat 600. I was surprised at how easy it actually was. I had absolutely no problems and the bike ended up running awesome. Im now tearing apart a 750 to do the exact same thing.
