Turning the screw OUT will RICHEN the mixture . You want to turn it IN if your plugs are reading rich . And yeah , the bike will run great with new plugs , and may do so for a while , but eventually your plugs may get nasty again if the mixture's off somewhere . Checking every once in a while is a good idea . I'd go for a good long ride , let the bike sit for a few hours (overnight maybe) , then check them .
