  • Please help!!!

Ok guys, I have a 2000 Kat 750 that I cant seem to get tuned right. It idles fine, accelerates well, no functional issues. The problem is that when Im slowing down with no load on the engine I hear this hissing, almost gurgling noise coming from the exhaust. Again, it only happens when Im slowing down with little to no throttle. I have a Yoshi R3 slip on. Also, I have cleaned and synched the carbs, ajusted the float bowls, and adjusted the A/F screws in both directions to try and get rid of the noise (thinking that its a lean/rich issue) and nothing helps. Any ideas!!!

    is it popping?
If not, why is it a problem? Maybe it's not your exhaust.. but tires/chain/brakes

Thanks for the reply. I have checked everything and its also very obvious that the sound is coming from the exhaust. Even though its not popping per say I would still like to figure out what can be done or if this is simply normal for a Kat with aftermarket slip on??

Sound/vid clip?... might help better address it.

From the description, I'm inclined to think it's not really a problem. But...

Did you seal the joints when you installed the pipe? It could just be a small exhaust leak...
