  • New bike doesn't run right

I just got a 06 750 Katana 2405 miles.. my 1st bike, cudnt get the bike to start, the clutch lever is broke in half but i cud still pull the cable some and i thought it would fire.. am i wrong for thinking this method would work? also i have the battery charging and tho not fully charged i tried it after 12 hrs of charging and still plugged up! Advice anyone, and i have a new clutch lever on the way from suzuki. thanks..

Pull the wires off the bottom of the clutch lever switch (under the pivot point of the clutch) and short them together. MAKE SURE THE BIKE IS IN NEUTRAL by rocking it forward and back and then try again.

Congratulations on the new bike and Welcome but this isn't the place for this conversation. Try starting a new thread in Mechanics 101.
