I just changed spark plugs, did air filter, oil, and oil filter. One of the plugs was loose when removing. anyway every now and then get a bad smell when riding and I am not the source by the way any ideas.

No idea what you are riding.
My 04 Kat 750 had spark plug loosening issues that finally end with the ejection of a plug. Modified the head to accept the 12mm thread plugs and so far the loosening issue has not returned.
As to the smell, running to lean can cause a misfire and related odor. Since CO is odorless what you smell from the exhaust is HC which is caused by incomplete burning of the fuel.
i serviced mine yesterday and got oil on the exhaust, smell went away afer 10 mins of riding and im starting to regret putting anti sieze on my plugs after hearing about them backing off...
too much oil? dont beat yourself up over it, sh!t happens

yeah i cant really get away without gettin some oil on the pipes
Aluminum foil and/or plastic shopping bags.....It's a little extra work, but it keeps things clean and you don't have to deal with the smell afterward...
