96 750 that sat for a couple years in garage. changed all fluid and filters,plugs,etc. was CA bike but bought pro rebuilt non CA carbs and new hoses/vacuum lines. turns over but wont start! has spark,fuel,compression. pulled airbox and fuel going through carbs. NOW FOUND FUEL LEAKING OUT HEADERS! WTF! Please help this poor kat from scrap heap. thanks.

Floats/float needles issue. Either they are stuck, non sealing off, or incorrect heights. This allows fuel to flow even when the bowls are full, flooding out the engine so it won't run (too much fuel) and then has to go somewhere. A common spot is into the cylinders, leaking down around the rings into the crankcase and filling/mixing with the oil. If you have fuel flowing out the breather hose up top... that is definately the issue.
