  • Carb vacuum differences

I just finished syncing my carbs, 2, 3, and 4 are within +-1 PSI at idle. However, carb number 1 is about 4-5 PSI lower than the rest. Now I know that the throttle plate is bent, don't ask me how the hell that happened, and I have the adjusting screw in as far as it goes, so my only option to sync carb 1 is to replace the plate.

Unfortunately, last time I considered doing it I had some trouble finding just one plate for sale, and the screws holding it on are completely stripped, pulling it will not be easy.

My question: will I see a big difference in performance/fuel consumption if I get a new plate and sync carb 1 with the rest?
