Ok so i wanna change my spark plugs but none of my plug spanners will fit
does anyone know what size the plugs are in my 88, 600 kat?
they are a pain in the a** to get to

jarvo i had the same problem on my 94 katana. if the plugs are the same i believe they should be an 18mm deepwell socket that is thin walled... not a regular deep socket.

    hope that hleps

It's an 18mm deep well.. Either thin walled or some (american brands) are fine.
I have used Craftsman and Allen with success. In fact my 3/4 inch craftsman fits too.

Don't your bikes have a tool kit behind the battery? Mine does. It comes with a spark plug socket. Also, FWIW, my Honda XR650L's spark plug socket fits perfectly. It's a standard size NGK plug. If you need the tool, most dealerships carry it - Suzuki or not.

Hey man, there are little rubber caps at the end of the spark plug wires the are suposed to seal around the spark plug. Those sometimes come off the wire and get left on the plug therefor not letting the socket slide down all the way on the plug. get a flashlight and make sure there is just a bare plug. Just a hint

All the major tool suppliers sell the socket you need. If you are near a repair shop find out when their SnapOn / Mac / Matco / Cornwell tool truck comes by.
