  • My new favorite tool.

This is my new favorite tool, just picked it up friday off my friendly Matco dealer. Its made by Thexton. Here's a link to thier site. (Item 482)

This little puppy goes into you air chisel. The rotation is by hand so you arent going to strip the screw/bolt out like a rotational impact tool. The impact tool "jars" the fastener loose and you just turn it out by hand... Im lovin' it! And it will fit a 3/8" socket so it will take out larger bolt as well. I heard about it from a local mechanic, so I thought I would share.

Thanx for the info. That may come in handy for import brake rotors that have the hold down screws rusted in. Most of the time an impact driver works, Although I truly suk at swinging a hammer. This will be a much better option.

                  Seems awfully pricey.
Why not just cut the end off an impact tool and cut a 3/8 extender.
Use the female extender end for the handle.
Weld them up and done for free!
