Took carbs apart and cleaned them, set a/f 2 1/2 turns.
    1. The minute I start it the manifolds are extremely hot, is it normal to get that hot that quick?
    2. The 4th manifold is not as hot as the others is that normal?
    3. I know I need to sync them will that solve the problem?
    4. Any advice on the a/f screws?
Before I cleaned the carbs the bike would never idle w/out the choke on now it will idle with out it around 1100 rpms so one problem solved.
    5. When I rev it up it stays around 2000 rpms for a couple of seconds before coming back down, I have no idea why!
This is my 1st bike so I am learning something new everyday. the bike sat for 1 1/2 yrs hence the problems I am having I will learn from the responses here so thanks.

That's typical of a lean mixture and/or vacuum leak.
