  • 88 Kat 600 - Runaway on Full Choke

When starting my bike with the choke (at full), the engine revs up to ~5000RPM. This just started recently.

    Thoughts?

Too warm these days to need full choke. Mine will run up around 4,000 RPM if choked when warm.

Mine does the same on full choke. Just tweak it back after bike starts.

With choke off it runs around 1000RPM which seems normal, then after about 15 minutes of running seems to bog down and want to stall (likely carbs)

But the bike started doing this when it was fairly cold (in Ontario)

Exactly. My ZZR is the same way.
