'82 Katana Engine # ? help!

So my local shop tells me I need specific engine # for valve-cover gasket order (implying there was a design change during 1982)
He says I need to confirm # is either 101 416 or 101 417.

The only # I can see is GS110X-141646 (located on right side).
He's saying this is not the number and it's wrong location.
But this # looks close to the 101 416 !!??

Can anyone shed light?

Check the left side, near the bottom section of the cooling fins...

The engine number on the old kats, is stamped on the same place as the new kats. A plate near the oil fill door.

Suzuki Ray should know which gasket part # you need. Try PMing him.
