ive got a small leak at midpipe just thinking could this have any effect on my idle. Ill be syncing the carbs with gauges iordered when they get here,however I did sync using home made manometer. Thanks.

Depending upon where it is, it could affect your idle, but mid-pipe, I kind of doubt it would make your idle go nuts unless its sizeable. Is it at the gasket? If so, get a new gasket. Not expensive. There are all kinds of gasket 'sustitutes', but I prefer OEM when I can get it.=USAF= Retired

It a vance and hines full exhaust didnt see gaskets last summer when took it off for oil change filter was stuck.Im not a carburetor guru.Comment
