I'm not sure I would put seafoam in the crank because of the wet clutch. Make sure it runs right and just change the oil again.

Not sure about the Seafoam in oil deal, but I vote NO !!
Get it running good, then change the oil again soon and drain it when the bike is hot.

Sea Foam is used in oil to clean carbon, condition rings, and otherwise help remove carbon deposits that occur. I do not know how it would effect the wet clutch in the motorcycles, but I have not heard of a situation where someone claims they did it, and then the clutch went out. Perhaps someone can step up here and raise a hand?

It's a short duration process... and it's a minor mixture amount. You don't replace the oil... you just add a little too it, just like in your gas. A little per gallon, shortly before an oil change.

I haven't used it in a bike either but in a truck with a sticking lifter it worked wonders! There tranny seafoam also works very well. I guess really couldn't be anyworse than a bike with the oil watered down with gas, my bike ran in the garage like that before I realized it and changed it. I don't think the seafoam would really help clean out any residual gas left in the crank though if that is his intentions.

yeah i decided not to do the seafoam. i got the bike running yesterday and it runs AWESOME!!!!. Thanks alot to you guys for all your help. im thinking it will run even better after i put a new airfilter in (old has been soaked in gas several times) and throw some new plugs in there. for the oil im just gonna changed it after a week or two. i also put the jet kit in and idk really know whether i should keep fine tuning it just bc im tired of taking apart carbs lol but i got the jet kit and a yosh pipe. i have needle set and 3rd from top, a/f at 3 turns out, and floats at 14mm. sound right to you guys??
