how to change oil to 2006 Kat

Can someone show me how to change the oil to my 2006 Kat and what oil should i use? This is my first motorcycle and would like to work it if i could...thanks

It's pretty straight forward. Just make sure you download a manual and get the correct torque settings for the drain bolt. It's not too hard to strip the threading. I just bought a filter wrench from autozone, you'll need like a 6" extension for your ratchet to clear the headers.

Drain oil
Replace drain plug
Replace filter
Fill with oil

if i can't get it off by hand,i opt for the screwdriver and hammer
