power loss after 15 mins

bike starts and runs perfect for about 15 mins till it gets warmed up i guess u could say. this happens the same distance everytime i ride it. it will suddenly lose all power and bogg down let it cool for about 10 mins will go the same distance. was told it could be the coils so new ones are on the way so just looking to see if anyone has had the same problem and could help me.

There is a service manual in the wiki. You can test the coils and timing gear with a multimeter.

Is the bike fueling correctly? Is the tank vapor locking?

Next time it happens; immediately open the gas cap. If you here a swoosh, bingo.

sounds like the fuel filter. being a low flowing one. just need to change to a High flowing one. that is if u just recently changed it.

it was the fuel and vac lines being all cracked and what not
