      The dial between full and the start of the lower red notch represents 12L on my 1998 750F. I regularly do 100 miles on that too, giving around 40mpg. The Haynes manual states it should be around 42mpg. The tank has another 9L in it once you hit red!

        DAMN! thats where the mileage it! i always fill before red and it never takes too much...thats why!

        04/03/2010 - 2069 miles. Burley frame sliders, mesh mod, carbs overhauled.
        08/05/2010 - 8562 Miles, SS lines, shovel del., int. brake light
        10/08/2010 - 9862 miles, GSXR cams, futomo Valve
        05/22/2011- 11884 Miles, -GSXR cams -Futomo Valve +advancer

          Yes it had me worried for a while too.
          Just keep your next petrol receipt when you fill up from the start of the red notch and you should see 12L on it.

            i wish it was called petrol here....i tell people i need to get some petrol and they are like WTF....nimwit americans..... no dis to anyone here...i just think people need to expand there thoughts and intelligence to other cultures
