  • Just cant win - Busted clutch.

So I torn down my whole motor to replace the countershaft bearing. Got the whole thing back together and in the bike. I fired her up and went went to roll it out of the garage and noticed the clutch wont engage. Adjusted the cable and no luck so I took the clutch out and this found that the top aluminum plate the holds the springs has busted on one end. See pic.

Anyone have one of these laying around they can sell me and ship really quick?

And is that even my problem? Im not 100% what method the clutch engages. Could I have messed something up when reaasembling the case?

She also doesnt want to start real easy, I just figured its because it hasnt run in 3 weeks.

Update: Alright Im a stooge, apparently the two push rods that actuate the clutch werent lined up right so they were binding and not atcually moving the clutch, but I do still need that outter clutch plate because the clutch wants to hang up on the side that doesnt have th spring seat.
