missfire *sometimes

my 89 kat will sometimes be missing on a cylinder when i start it up... and sometimes it doesnt. like today i started it up, started to pull out and its missfiring in what feels like only 1 cyl. ride it around for atleast 5 mins trying to rev it out and maybe make it gain the cyl out but no matter how high i rev or how much gas i give, it keeps missing.

so i let it sit for an hour or 2 and then started it back up and it runs great, all 4 cyls firing. ... idk lol

I've had that issue before due to incorrect carb settings/dirty carbs....

Could be an electrical issue as well I guess.
