I have the remains of a VFR, and was wondering if anyone has modified a KAT to switch out the rear end for a VFR single side rear end. I really liked the single side, and was wondering if anyone had tried this mod.

I thought we had a thread on a VFR schwing arm already? I'd say search because I'm pretty sure I saw it around here.
I did not pay much attention to it since it was something I had no intention of doing.

Check out Kwebbel's bike, he did the single sided swing arm mod. If you want details you'll have to PM Anoucka tho, Kwebbel's no longer with us.Last edited by Trackerrrr; 03-14-2009, 02:45 AM.Chris

Yes, Roger did that but there isn't much documentation on this build.
I do know that it took a lot of time, effort, and money to make it happen.-Steve

JW,
See
for ideas; okay, this is a MV Augusta arm, but it gives a great insight into all the choppin' that would be required....
If you post anything on OSS with a similar question, just make sure you say hello and introduce yourself fully, ideally with pics of your stead, to get the best welcome and help. I am not cannibalising btw, it's just the knowledge over there is perhaps more suited to this question. They have immense knowledge, just like here.
