More carb help

on my 2006 Katana 600....

on the carbs, the side towards the rear of the bike there is a T coming from 1-2 with a hose on it and a t from 3-4 with a hose on it

my question is, where do these hoses go? Are they vents to somewhere?

I got the carbs all working well and such, replaced the plugs, drained my old gas out of the tank, put in new gas, put in a new battery.. and now WOW, I am surprised at how well it runs again... Better than new
