I was having a problem with my idle. It would run ok for the most part but when I came to a stop it would idle for about 30 sec's then die. I could also smell gas when it stalled.
I broke down and replaced the 8 O-rings on the floats. They were in sad shape, hard and shrunken down. The new ones fit tight and hold the floats in place. Total fix cost me about $20 in parts and my labor.
Now the bike runs great and smooth, I dont have to feather the gas and clutch so much when taking off. Its like a new bike!!!!
Oh I also put in a new OEM air filter just because I had it apart.
