Service Manual Question

I have an '06 Katana. I have a service manual that cover thru '01.

Can I safely apply these spec. from '01 manual to my '06?

I think it is okay, but wanted to run it by the Guru's first.

everything should be the same with the exception of the tail plastics and tail light.

Yup, engine be the same.
