  • will a post 98 750 exhaust fit a pre 98 600?

it is a yoshimirra racing exhaust to be specific, and i may be aquiring a 06 katana for a very small amount, and was wondering whether or not i should keep the exhaust. but if i cant sell the engine i may do and engine swap eventually, and i'll need the exhaust then anyhow, i dunno, that post 750 engine will fit into my pre 98 600 right?

With stock exhausts the issue is the collectors foul against the oil pan. So pre 98 exhaust, pre 98 pan and vise versa. I don't know how that applies to aftermarket pipes though. As far as I know you can swap the 98+ engine into the pre.

Yes, the exhaust can be made to fit by denting the collector. You'll need to jet accordingly.
