  • Spark plugs black

    Just picked up a Katana 600.1995.It fouls out the plugs every 600 miles or so.Cleaned the carbs.Synced them.Checked the jets .All stock.Bike is bone stock.I am not sure what is going on.Any thoughts.

      check your airfilter isnt clogged too

                Make sure the choke is operating smoothly and opening and closing all the way. Especially look at the actuator arm on the carbs and see if they slide smooth. Might also have a crappy cable. Might be choking it a little without realizing..........

                  The air screws are def. 2 turns out.I am stumped.I did run across a set of carbs off a 750.Not sure if they would fit though.

                      As I was taking the carbs. back off the bike I notice the choke was out just a little bit on all them.Tore them apart and gave them a good cleaning.I just put the bike all back together,and wow I got good throttle response.So I think the problem may have been the choke like you guys said.Thanks for all the help.
