Kat choke problem

Have my project bike back together after a rebuild, have added an Ivan's jet kit, an ignition advancer, Yoshimura ehaust, ect... Got it running but it won't stay running unless the choke is full on no matter what. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

a/f mix is bad .. since the choke manually does basically that .. restricting air to richen the mix .. if i understand the mechanics correctly .. but could be a host of other things i assume .. just not alot to go on there .. im sure further replies will either correct me or shed a true light on the subject
