High Speed Cut Out

I had just got onto I-70 on the way to work yesterday morning, got 'er up to 80mph and headed west. about a mile down my Kat started acting like it was out of gas. I pulled to the side of the road and she wouldn't start. i switched the petcock over to PRI and after a couple of seconds she fired up. I rode all the way to work and then the 48 miles back home without anymore problems. Any ideas?????

Important notes: 2005 GSX750F, 44k miles, had just filled up with fuel.

Ideas: Bad gas, clogged filter, bad petcock.....

If you turned the petcock to Pri and it worked I would check the vacuum line to the petcock and if that don't work it may be rebuild time for the petcock.
