  • it wont STOPPIE.....????

so... when i first got my Katana i could do stoppie's pretty easy....

now, after it got layed down and the fork went out which all of that stuff is fixed now..... it wont stoppie anymore....

i have checked the brake reservoir its full.... i have bleed the brakes, there good..... and i have cleaned the brake pads and rotors, no coating.....

    SO WHAT WRONG ????????

i can cruise at any speed and grab a the front brake as hard as i want and it will just grunt to a stop......

Front forks too soft (diving instead of rotating)? That might totally be backwards though ... never intentionally did a stoppie.

Either not bled well and there is some trapped air in the system or you need the master cylinder rebuilt.

true, but Katana's are friggin heavy. Yeah like that, just get a kit for the right bike, I don't know if anyone's told you, but you don't have a GSXR

yeah but i haven't had any problems doing stoppies or wheelies on it...... even wit the weight....

OH but the main reason i think somethings wierd is cause i could stoppie pretty easy befor.... and now for some reason i cant....

maybe it realized how heavy it is?
