idle at 3 grand

is it bad for my back to be idleing at 3000? it seems to be alittle high but thats where it seems to stay. i have ajusted it a few times but stalls at stops any lower. any advice?

sounds like you need to give them a GOOD cleaning.

That will go away when you pull the carbs take the bowls of and clean all jets you can see there.
Same symptoms I had just yesterday after running great before, cleaned the pilot jets with some plastic bristles and carb cleaner. Pored a half a bottle Sea Foam in the full tank. Put it back together and 2 hours later it run great again.
