a/f and pilot screw two differnt things

    your thinking the way i was they say a/f and pilot screw are the same the one under the rubber stopper is a pilot jet the one you have to tap out is a a/f and the pilot screw what ever you want to call it its the same thing
    tight on the jet

    2.5 out on the a/f or the same thing which is a pilot screw

        pilot "screw" ?!? how about Pilot JET. just cuz it threads in doesnt make it a "screw". ever think that maybe they have the a/f screw sealed with a metal plug for a reason? maybe it's to keep the confused from messin with it?
        99% of the questions asked here can be answered by a 2 minute search in the service manual. Get a service manual, USE IT.

                seems to be some a/f or pilot screw confusion

                i got some specs from factory pros awhile back and they do show a setting for the pilot screw but no a/f setting please advise which way to go ill have tried both ways by the time you get to responded but for others it may sort a thing or two for them.and id like thank all of you out there for your wisdom and continued assistance and professionalism .
