I have a 94 Kat with 7000 miles on it and I am having a problem. I will start and run with the choke on but when I turn the choke of it dies, and won't restart without the choke being turned on. Can anyone help or give me some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Clean the carbs. Your pilot circuits blocked and the rest of its probably gummed to heck. Since its a 94 with only 7k Take a good look in the gas tank to make sure theres no rust as well. Evidence of rust will also be in the float bowls as an orange sediment. If theres rust, you need to treat the tank with por-15 before proceeding or you will just block the carbs agian. And dont bother trying to use a filter, it will impede fuel flow. The filter parts from personal experience on more then just one Kat.If its not broke, Hit it with a bigger hammer and blame it on cheap imports
