Airbox drain tube. plug???

about vaccumleak, and the Airbox draintube was mentioned to be a possible airleak.
Should it have a plug???

Another thing. Is it possible to have anyone of you guys helping me getting 4 emulsiontubes for a Pre 98 600 F UK model.
I was asking my local steelership about sutch 4 tubes and the price was aprox 100$ each. Maybe you have some conections to buy them from.

Yes the large drain tube should have a plug. Nothing special just something that will stay in until you want to remove it and that will seal off the tube.

Is it a problem if the plug is damaged and not 100% sealing the tube. I'd assume it would be.

I have in this post http://katriders.com/vb/showthread.php?t=78757&page=2 talked with Arsenic about those tubes, and Arsenic told me to get the P-3 for my UK model. But at that price i just as well could get a whole carb from the US and put on my bike......

Anyone that can help with this??? (getting the UK P-3) tubes or finding out what difference there is with US/UK models??

What if i buy a complete US set:
A US Jet-needle and a US needle-jet.
They should fit together and that for the price of one Tube here in denmark?? Or is that a risky buisness??

the UK tubes are P-3, the US are P-2.
The UK needle is 5FZ 102-3, the US is 5F104
I have no idea what the difference is. The US needle and the US tube will fit together, I just don't know how that will work with UK jetting.

P-2

no P-3
Toughs are US tubes for 88-89 and 90-97 along with Cali

What happens when you put the Suzuki part numbers into Ronayers.com? Cyberpoet or HS2020 may be able to order them for you.

Now i have fixed a plug for the draintube. Hope it helps some too.

I found a vacuume cap or something that fit over it, and added a little black electrical tape to hold it in place.

on the fiche there is no Suzuki p/n for P-3 jet needles, just the US and cali ones.

hmmm why is it always have to be such a pain in the butt.
I just have to try a UK dealer and see what they can come up with.
Hopefully it will be cheaper.....

You tried to look up the part, or the part number? I don't presume to know anything that you do or did, that's why I asked.

Sounds to me you need to buy a whole new set of carbs. I wonder if one of our UK members can ship them to you (as a "gift" then there is no tax).
