Slow idle and runs rough

One day, out of the blue, my Kat 600 '99 started running with a slow and unsteady idle. Also, the idle adjustment that was working previously is not working now. Any ideas? Suggestions?......Thanks

what air filter? My first guess is that the idle has been turned so far out it is no longer making contact.

Check plugs or feel headers for heat . Careful , they get hot enough to melt skin REALLY quickly . I'm BETTING one or more is not as hot as the rest ..... This will give us some clues on what to do next .
