I'm pretty sure the seats are the same.
I emailed Corbin and asked if they made the Gunfighter for a '90 and they said no. The odd ting is they make it for the 93-95 Kat 750 and 1100, but not the 93-95 600 or any models pre 93. This is my first bike so I'm pretty new to the differences in models but would the 93-95 750 seat fit the a '90 600 model?

the pre98 kat 600 seats are different as they are two pieces instead of one piece like the 750's. So latch and locking mechanism would be different. Their site says that their seat for the pre98 kat 750's only go to like 1994, but that is wrong. As far as i know all pre98 kat 750 seats will work. I had a 1992 kat 750 and i bought one and it fit great. They don't list any earlier they said because they have not fitted them. I told them they did and sent pictures, but they said unless i bring it in, they won't change the site.

That may be a tall order. I don't know of anyone that has done it. Seems to me it would be quite a bit of fabrication. I could be wrong.

well after i wrote up a list of all the things i want to do to my bike this winter i realized that i would be better off repainting the kat give it to my wife find a frame and harness and start from scratch so with any luck after the first snow 1 bike will go in to the shop and in the spring 2 will come out and 1 will be a gsx600f/bandit1200 streetfighter
You exhibit an overexuberance in all respects that cannot be satisfied. Your attitude and ego are over the top, yet you actually have the skills to match. Its infuriating. People would hate you, but you're too damned nice. You always ride like its your last day to live, and leave bystanders vaguely aroused. Your bike is the Ducati 996. Sex on wheels.

                            Once the snow starts:
                            valve adjustment/carb sync
                            add a power outlet

and if I can learn how to paint, I want to repaint the frame covers
