                    Hi there,

Greetings from 2016. The first link is there but without pictures, the same is true for a carb synching how to. Any way we can fix that?

                    thanks,

                      Pictures please

Hi there. Will it be possible to have the pictures shown in the write up? I am about to adjust my valves for the first time. I am used to have it done by a Suzuki dealer, but it should be quite easy.

Sadly Marc aka the Cyberpoet died in 2009, so while the write up is still there on his website motorcycleanchor the links to the pics are long since gone.

Unfortunately the person hosting the website for The Cyberpoet has been slowly taking content offline. The write up in the service manual is pretty good if you can find a working link to one.

I have now adjusted the valves. Intake 0.10 mm. and exhaust 0.18 mm. Everything is assembled and the bike fired up right away. Now I have done some research and it seems like I should have set the intake to 0.15 and exhaust to 0.23 instead.. Can anyone please tell me that I do not have to do it all over again..??

You should adjust to the middle of the range. In the chart below the first range is .15-.25. In which case you would want to adjust to .20.

Here's the chart for shims if that's what you are working with.
