  • maybe a clutch problem

Hi, I have a 94 katana 750 and when I hold the clutch in and downshift the revs will jump but i don't touch the gas clutch is still pulled in.
Is the clutch still partially engaged or maybe it needs to be adjusted?
    How would you do this?
    thanks [/quote]

Just posting a quick, early reply, others here know more about this than I do, I'm sure they will check in.

Oh, yeah, clutch is not totally dis engaging. I don't know what bike you have, not any real adjustment on a hydro clutch, so if its hydro, check/bleed fluid. If it's cable, you can adjust.

Possible your clutch is partially sticking, but not likely.

there are two adjusters on your cable, try adjusting the clutch lever end first for small adjustments, if that dont work try the other end for larger adjustments. just remember, only make small adjustments. does your bike want to move when you have the clutch lever pulled in while stopped, in gear, and running?
