Jet kit

I have an Ivans jet kit installed, my question is when I start the bike with the choke it seems to back fire. I usually run the choke for about 20 seconds till the bike will warm up without it. The bike never popped with the choke before, yet once it is warm the bike runs great. Is this something I should try to adjust or leave it alone because it seems to run good when it is warm. Let me know your thoughts.

Well , if it's popping that's probably because it's alot richer now at idle than before . Choke's bumping that up a tad . If it runs great when warm , hooray . I'd take a look at the plugs sometime though to see if it's maybe TOO rich ..... Like after you get home sometime let it idle for a minute or 2 , let it sit for a few hours , then check them .
