    needle top --->
    white retainer --->
    metal shim/washer --->
    plastic shim/washer -->
    99 YZF600R with 03 R6 fairing, headlights & mirrors, Sportech Blue Chrome Windscreen, D&D can,
    OES Frame sliders, MotoTeck smoked front turns, CBR 954rr Smoked Integrated Tail
    and 14T Front/49T Rear w/ DID X Ring Chain

      From the top.....

      Brown flatish piece (spring seat)
      Metal clip (holds needle)
      White spacer (keeps needle from falling through)

        hmm, I think the PO put a metal shim on the needles. I have a washer in there too.

        Flat white spring seat/retainer
        needle clip
        metal shim/washer
        white spacer

          The PO was shimming the needles to richen up the mid rpm's a little. You can leave it in or take it out. It's not factory though.

            yeah, Im starting to see the PO was an idiot. He had the shims in there, and the screws out 3.5 turns. Bike ran rich as a pig. Fouled out plugs qwikly, and there is massive amounts of carbon buildup on the valves.
