hmm, I think the PO put a metal shim on the needles. I have a washer in there too.

The PO was shimming the needles to richen up the mid rpm's a little. You can leave it in or take it out. It's not factory though.

yeah, Im starting to see the PO was an idiot. He had the shims in there, and the screws out 3.5 turns. Bike ran rich as a pig.
