Hello all, I’ve come here for advice/help/tips! I apologize if I’m posting wrong or in the wrong spot.
I’ve got what I’ve figured out to be (or think to be) a bad starter motor. Just a loud whirring noise whenever I go to start it, RPMs jump up too.
Now I need to fix it, and it looks to be a pain in the ass. According to a manual, I have to remove the carbs, air cleaner, alternator, just to access the starter motor. I’m aware it’s an older bike but damn.
Has anyone worked on this bike and can offer advice? It would only be my 2nd time truly having to mess with carburetors on a motorcycle, which is why I’m hoping to get anything y’all can offer, thanks!
