  • help...my bike runs too good

from what everyone is saying on here, my bike shouldnt even run. i got my bike a year ago with 7000 miles on it.since then, ive switched to synthetic oil (helped) put me a scorpion pipe on, and then went and put a k&n filter on. the thing has never run better. what gives?now i`ve made the ghastly mistake of ordering a timimg advancer. i now have 22000 miles on it and havent had to do anything but keep the oil changed. anybody else having all these problems using these things?

get rid of that pesky k&n and go with their pod filter setup instead. that should help.

It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

If Ivan made a 88-97 kit, it would be in my kat.

I think he's mistaking what some have been saying . Nothing wrong with synthetic oil if you use the right stuff . K&N CAN work if you jet it well and use the right restricter . Slip on's are mostly about sound , and you don't really have to worry about the mix . See ? And I'm sure you'll LOVE the advancer . It'll give you more torque down low and help warm up time .
