I just bought an 06 600 Katana. It hasn't been ridden for at least 6 months, and still has half a tank of gas. Its been stored mostly indoors since that time, and is in good shape. Less than 1100 miles.
Anyway, it takes a very long time idling with the choke on before it stays running off choke. A dealer I talked to said that was fairly common. I'm thinking I'll run some carb cleaner through it, along with some fresh gas, change the oil and filter and maybe the plugs.
Anything else I should do?
