Kats are cold blooded and need to be warmed up real well before even trying to punch it down the street...I usually let mine run for about five mintues before I head out...

Dont worry about sounding dumb!
2 types of carb cleaner:
1) pull the carbs and shoot carb cleaner into all of the nooks and crannies
2) Carb cleaner that you mix with the fuel (i.e. Techron)
#1 is more effective than #2.
#2 is more for maintainence and can help with "slightly" crapped up carbs."I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy"
