after buying the bike last May and wrenching on it, before putting it away in August, I fonally got the bike up and running today. It took alot of learning about carbs, how they are put together, how sensitive they are, are how to clean them, and the bike in general until I finally got it all right this time. It's going to the shop next week for a valve adjustment and carb synch (shim-type valves, dont' want to mess with those right now), and other than that it should be up for a summer of riding (finally). Thanks for all the help and replies in getting her back to life.
