have a 93 kat600 i've put new coils and wires and header kit I also had carbs rebuilt, it still misses and now it won't even start. Could it be the cdi unit or starter relay or something else i'm not catching?

Are you sure the coils are hooked up right? Check both the wires supplying power to the coils, as well as the spark plug wires going to the right plugs.
When you say it won't start, do you mean it won't even crank or it cranks over, but won't fire up?
