        push start button does nothing

        i have a 1999 kat.600 one morning the push start quit working.does nothing no clicks or sounds..bike will start if u push start it down the road..i did use a wire to jump the selonoid and it fired up..starter switch or selonoid? i wonder which one is most likely to be?
